Triangle

Barnett, M. & Klassen, J. (2017). Triangle. Massachusetts: Candlewick Press.

Overview: Triangle lives in the land of triangles. He sets out to pull a practical joke on Square his friend. He has to travel to the land of squares. He passes different sizes triangles and squares on his way. Then he comes to Square's house he pretends to be a snake because square is afraid of snakes. Then he tells square it was him. Square chases him all the way back to his triangle home. Square can not fit through the door and blocks the light. Triangle is afraid of the dark. Square tells him he did this on purpose to get him back. A great book to use when talking about different shapes and sizes. Also the book could be used to talk about jokes and what kind are funny and what kind mean.

Level: Pre-K to 2nd grade
